Itinerary
08:00 AM – Pick-Up from Hotel: Our guide will meet you at your hotel for the start of the adventure. We’ll embark on a scenic 1.5-hour journey, passing through beautiful landscapes and stopping at the Taray viewpoint. Here, you can capture the perfect photo with the Sacred Valley and Vilcanota River as the backdrop.
Pisac Archaeological Park: We’ll head to the Pisac archaeological park, a remarkable Inca city divided into neighborhoods with distinct functions. Explore massive agricultural terraces that stretch from the valley floor to the mountaintop. We’ll also visit a fascinating Inca cemetery with over 5,000 tombs, ceremonial fountains, and the residences of the most prominent families of the era.
Free Time at Pisac Market: After the archaeological site visit, you’ll have free time to visit Pisac’s famous artisan market, where you can shop for beautiful handmade souvenirs.
Buffet Lunch in Urubamba: We’ll continue to Urubamba for a delicious buffet lunch, offering a variety of dishes from both traditional Peruvian and regional cuisine in a welcoming setting.
Ollantaytambo: Next, we’ll visit Ollantaytambo, an Inca site of great significance. We’ll tour the monumental construction, temples, ceremonial fountains, and storage warehouses located on the mountainside, offering insight into the ancient Inca civilization.
Chinchero: On our way back to Cusco, we’ll stop at Chinchero. We’ll visit the palace of Tupac Yupanqui, explore the temple that replaced the Inca palace’s main structures, and experience a traditional textile center where alpaca fibers are washed, dyed with natural materials, and woven on traditional looms.
Return to Cusco: After this enriching experience, we’ll head back to the city of Cusco, arriving at approximately 6:00 PM.
