Terms and Conditions

About Prices:

The prices established at the time of booking include only the services contracted by the customer, as detailed in the vouchers and tickets provided.

Taxes, fees, duties, or other applicable charges at the destination, according to the laws of each country, may increase or change without prior notice. It is the customer’s responsibility to verify and make the payment of these charges to the relevant authorities (Consulate or government entity) at the destination.

It is the customer’s responsibility to present a valid credit card, under the name of the cardholder, at check-in for the contracted land services. This card must be linked to any guarantees that may be required by service providers at the destination. The rates and conditions of these guarantees may vary depending on the type and duration of the service.

Cancellations, Changes, and Refunds:

Any change or cancellation is subject to the terms and conditions of the airline ticket, hotel, or service provider. Therefore, refunds may be partial, total, or in some cases, non-existent.

Responses to refund requests will be subject to the deadlines established by each provider or hotel.

It is the customer’s responsibility to be properly informed about the cancellation, change, and refund policies at the time of booking, directly with their sales channel.

To request the cancellation and refund of contracted services, the customer must contact the corresponding sales channel, either in person at the sales office or through the following phone number…

Responsibilities:

Xplora Machu Picchu will not be responsible for the loss, suspension, or modification of the contracted services (hotels, transfers, etc.) due to circumstances beyond its control, such as weather conditions, natural disasters, security issues, or actions by third parties over whom Xplora Machu Picchu has no influence, as well as force majeure cases.

Xplora Machu Picchu will also not be responsible for any deficiency or issue with the customer’s documentation (passport, visa, insurance, medical requirements, etc.). If the customer must suspend or abandon their trip due to the lack or irregularity of these documents, they will be solely responsible for covering any resulting expenses, and the conditions established in Section 2 above will apply.

Xplora Machu Picchu is only committed to fulfilling the services detailed in the vouchers issued and delivered by the corresponding sales channel. Any additional expenses or services not specified in the vouchers will be at the passenger’s expense. Likewise, any inconvenience related to services contracted directly by the customer with third parties will be the customer’s sole responsibility. The passenger confirms that they have been properly informed by the sales advisor about the necessary documents for entering/exiting the destinations included in the tour package.

Xplora Machu Picchu acts as an intermediary in the provision of contracted services, and its responsibility, as well as that of its providers, is limited to the quality of the intermediation. Xplora Machu Picchu will not be responsible for deficiencies in the services provided by suppliers or for any material or personal damages caused to the customer due to third-party actions.

It is the customer’s responsibility to carry the corresponding vouchers during their trip, which must be presented to the service provider at the destination. Failure to present the vouchers may result in the provider denying the service, without any liability for Xplora Machu Picchu.

Customers are advised to confirm check-in and check-out times directly with their hotel.

As an intermediary, Xplora Machu Picchu is not responsible for any damage or loss suffered by the passenger during their stay or while using services provided by third parties. However, the customer has the right to file a claim directly with the service provider or the responsible third party.
